My husband and I moved into a new home in 2019 and we love it – lots of windows with really great light. However, I soon got tired of opening and closing all of the shades in my house at least twice a day, so I called IQ Home & Office to see if they could help. Eric came to my home and explained how my existing shades could be automated and scheduled to open and close based on the movement of the sun, the temperature in the room, or a set time schedule. We were excited at the thought of having our shades automated so we wouldn’t have to open and close them all the time, but what really sold us is that we knew we would be conserving energy by placing them on a schedule…
The IQ Home & Office team retrofitted my home – taking out an older Savant / Crestron system to replace with Apple HomeKit compatible options – a much simpler set of technology that will allow me to upgrade/change out on my own. They were super responsive and came back to address issues timely – very happy.
